Papa Wemba is appointed ambassador of the mobile telephony company, Airtel DR Congo. The choice of the Congolese artist is unanimous for a very good reason that the Congolese star is listed among the most popular African artists of the world. He henceforth joins his fellow countryman Fally Ipupa who already was an ambassador of the Airtel brand.
During the next three years, Papa Wemba will defend the colors of Airtel DRC. According to the manager of the mobile telephony company, the artist has the merit to adapt himself to all generations.
Of his real name, Jules Shungu Wembadio Pene Kikumba is the author of several hits among which we note Molokaï (1998) or Ya Biso Moko (1998). He has about fifty albums to his asset. « Maître d’école« , the last opus by the artist was released in 2014.
